Witches, Zombies and Ghosts! OH MY!

Happy Halloween Everyone!  That’s right!  It’s that time of the year again!  And this week we’ll be talking about a helpful Trick or Treat tip.  Safety lights! Halloween is one of the most memorable times in a child’s life!  After all, what kid doesn’t love dressing up, seeing spooky decorations and eating buckets of candy (and what adult for that matter)?  Unfortunately, Halloween can also be dangerous seeing as most of the festivities occur at night time when drivers are less likely to see little ones.  That’s why safety lights are ..well…safe!So, you may be wondering, “What kind of lights should I use?”  Well, the good news is you have many options!  LED lights are a wonderful choice because they are easily seen by drivers.  Some safety lights even come with the ability to flash or have reflective straps to increase visibility.

Plus!  Lights are easy to incorporate into a costume! Kids will be able to choose from a variety of colors that appeal to them and you’ll feel better knowing that they are safe.  And safety lights are also lightweight so they won’t get in the way of that barrel of candy they’ll be lugging around!

Make your little monster even spookier by giving him striking red eyes, let your wicked witch fly on a flashing green broom and no kid is complete without a glowing orange pumpkin candy bucket. (Seriously though! How cool are those?!)

Take it from me!  This is no hocus pocus!  Safety is an important part of Halloween (along with candy corn and pumpkin flavored everything, of course!)
